Klaus Faber AG appoints new Management Board member

Dr Falko Schröter was named to the Management Board of Klaus Faber AG effective 1 January 2024. He has taken responsibility for the Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Marketing units.

Dr Schröter, 53, studied materials science and industrial engineering at Saarland University and elsewhere. Throughout his career, he has held various senior commercial and technical positions in the steel and steel processing industry. Most recently, he served as managing director for an international large-diameter pipe manufacturer in Mülheim/Ruhr.

With this background, Dr Schröter has considerable experience in the challenges and opportunities of transformation in international energy systems and will bring his expertise with him in the ongoing development of Klaus Faber AG. 

The current Management Board is comprised of Joachim Krimmel (Sales), Dr Jens Artelt (Finance, HR, IT) and Dr Falko Schröter.
