City Cycling is a campaign developed by Climate Alliance which is the largest network of cities, municipalities and districts committed to protecting the world’s climate with over 1,700 members in 26 European countries. Between 1 May and 30 September, local politicians and citizens are invited to cover as many kilometres as possible by bike during a three-week period to help protect the climate and promote cycling in their local area.
Three colleagues participate and meet the challenge to conquer the mountain by bike to get to their workplace. The road to our company is steep and extends over several kilometers.
Deep respect to our colleagues Lisa Labouvie, Peter Reifenberger and Andreas Kasparek-Kruchten. A great performance, which is not only good for the physical fitness, but also for the climate. A good reason to get in the saddle and to support the campaign. In three weeks our cyclists cycled 256 km and have thereby saved a total 36.4 kg CO2. And they continue.
The reward: The downhill road on the way back home.
