We stock a wide range of classic electrical wires and cables in various cross-sections and designs, including medium-voltage cables and wires, halogen-free safety cables and wires, installation wires, communication cables and wires, control cables, data and electronic cables, fibre-optic cables, bus lines and drag chain cables. You benefit particularly from the fact that most of our products are available from stock. What that means for our customers is fast delivery times, minimal risk, no capital tied up, no risk of theft and no valuation risk.

Company history

1950 – Klaus and Elfriede Faber set up an electrical wholesale business at Lebacher Strasse in Saarbrücken.

1970 – Focus shifts to selling cables/wires and services.

1990 – New logistics centre in Fichtenau opens its doors.

1993 – New logistics centre in Hedemünden opens its doors.

1995 – Faber is certified to ISO 9002 (now 9001).

2000 – Klaus Faber GmbH becomes a joint stock company.

2004 – The Klaus Faber Foundation is established.

2008 – The extension of the Fichtenau logistics centre location is completed.

2012 – The modernisation and extension of the Hedemünden logistics centre is completed.

2013 – The Klaus Faber Foundation gains non-profit status.

2017 – Klaus Faber AG paves the way to becoming a systems provider in promising business segments.

2018 – Klaus Faber AG takes over Friesland-Kabel GmbH (Germany’s market leader for ship and port cables).

2019 – Friesland-Kabel GmbH opens a new logistics centre in Wismar.

2021 – The new Klaus Faber AG company headquarters in the Eurobahnhof district of Saarbrücken opens its doors.

2022 – Klaus Faber AG takes over ZIEGLER ENGINEERING GmbH (a specialist in electrical heat tracing systems and measuring technology).
