The meeting about the subject of “Future SME Support“ took place at the German Bundestag on October 17. Amongst the subjects discussed by Carsten Linnemann MdB, Chairman of the CDU/CSU SME and Trade Association MIT and Vice Chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group; IWS Senators; Prof. Dr. Foders, IWS President; Thomas Matussek, retired ambassador, IWS Vice President; Peter Nussbaum, IWS Secretary General and Joachim Czabanski, CEO of Klaus Faber AG were the focus areas of economic policy, research funding, digitalization, broadband expansion and the involvement of SMEs – backbone of the German economy – in the government's trade missions.
