Preassembled Electrical Cable
Since 2007, FABER has bee offering its customers yet another service: the cutting to length and termination of flexible electrical cable with connectors, plugs and terminal ends.
In conjunction with a pilot project for a well-known manufacturer of cranes, FABER has set up and is now operating a facility on its headquarters' premises for the manufacture of small batches of preassembled electrical cable.
Here, cables can be fashioned with conductor cross-sections of up to 300mm². They are assembled with standard cable shoes, wire-end sleeves, plugs and connectors. Cables are tailored in accordance with customer requirements, which also allows for labelling of individual cores. Modern testing technology is employed to ensure a uniformly high quality.
